Good cycling infrastructure is also possible in old streets. This street in Utrecht (Netherlands) was designed by Napoleon when the Netherlands were part of the French Empire in 1812. It was part of the “Route ImpĂ©riale no. 2″ which connected Paris via paved direct roads with Amsterdam (515 kilometers or 320 miles). The street design was changed several times in 200 years. It got the separate cycle paths that exist today around the year 2000. If you would like to see this from the driver’s seat; then the passing bicyles look like this: www.youtube.com
I want to tone my body, but I don’t like running or walking on the treadmill or outdoors. I enjoy playing in the swimming pool. I play in a 11ft pool where I am constantly moving my body to stay afloat. I also do 2-3 laps. I am learning how to dive. My heart rate goes up and I feel tired at the end. I have a good weight and I eat healthy.
Would doing this help me get toned? Do I need to do weights?
Thank you.
The 9th Annual Nautica New York City Triathlon took place in Manhattan featuring athletes from 45 states and 18 countries. The top finishers were Greg Bennett who achieved a fourth consecutive win with a time of 1:45:50 and Rebeccah Wassner with a time of 1:58:25. The course consisted of a 1500-meter swim in the Hudson River, a 40-kilometer bike ride along the Henry Hudson Parkway, and a 10K run in Central Park. The IAMS 5-Mile Doggy Dash was also a popular event this year with nearly 20 dogs and their owners taking part.
I run mostly outside on pavement or dirt/gravel, then occasionally on treadmills. I run about 2 to 3 miles / 6 days a week. Because I run outside should I look at trail shoes or go with a regular running shoe? Also, anyone have any suggestions on good brands to try?
I am interested in cycling for the fitness aspect. I have begun working out and am looking for another activity. I am a female, about 5′4″. I want to ride in our neighborhood and local parks, possibly with my son. I want to get the right type of bike, but I also need something pretty cheap. Any suggestions?
How many weeks or months do you have to wait to go swimming in the ocean or pool after you get a belly button piercing? My summer break is in like 2 and a half months and I was wondering if I got it in like 3 weeks, would I be able to go swimming by then? Or should I wait until after summer?
My toilet runs constantly. I can lift the black plunger bubble looking thing (not too familiar with toilets, sorry) and the toilet will cease running. Anyways, I’m planning on buying a toilet repair kit at the local dollar general for 8 bucks and googling how to fix it.
My main question is this: my electric bill is outrageously high from month to month (way more usage on the bill than what I could possibly using WAY WAY more, I use 3000 kwh a month and try hard to conserve electricity). Could a constantly running toilet (it’s been running for a month now) be causing my electric bill to be so high?
Lastly, I have a ton of water in my front yard and there’s been an ongoing drought all summer. All my neighbors yards are like concrete they’re so dry. In my front yard there is a large diameter that is like walking through a swamp or something. Could this be caused by the constantly running toilet (maybe causing the septic tank to overflow? not sure..)?
Please help, thanks!

I was thinking of getting a sports watch for someone I know who is going to start doing a lot of triathlon training. I wanted to get them something they could use for cycling, running and swimming that is a really great athletic companion but isn’t too expensive. Can anyone help me here?
